Refund & cancellation policy
This policy applies to professional engagements with East Vale Control Audit for audits for fintech control environments, settlement reviews, board briefings, and remediation follow-ups. It does not cover products, shipping, or software subscriptions, which we do not sell.
Refund eligibility
Fees are tied to professional time and reserved fieldwork calendars. Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed and whether work has started under a signed engagement letter.
Timeframe
Refund requests must be sent in writing to hello@autoroutingsys.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation notice or delivery dispute), unless the engagement letter sets a different window.
Full refunds
A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel the engagement for reasons within our control before fieldwork begins, or if a scoping deposit was taken and we decline the engagement before issuing an engagement letter.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after the engagement letter is signed but before walkthroughs or sampling begin, we may refund fees paid minus the non-refundable deposit and any documented preparation already performed (evidence index review, custom document request drafting).
Non-refundable items
- The 30% deposit once the fieldwork calendar is reserved, unless we cancel
- Completed deliverables already issued (findings memo, short-form report, briefing pack)
- On-site travel costs already incurred with your prior written approval
Work already started
Once walkthroughs or sampling have begun, fees for time incurred are payable. Unused prepaid amounts for later phases may be credited toward a rescheduled window within three months or partially refunded at our discretion after deducting work performed.
Deposits
Deposits secure auditor availability. They are applied to the final invoice. They are refundable only as described above.
Cancellation & rescheduling
You may request rescheduling with at least ten business days’ notice before kickoff without forfeiting the deposit, subject to our next available calendar. Shorter notice may forfeit the deposit if we cannot reassign the reserved days.
No-shows
If key client contacts miss agreed walkthroughs without notice and evidence is not provided within the agreed window, we may pause the engagement and charge for reserved days, or close the engagement with a status note instead of a full memo.
Purchased materials
We do not sell physical kits or materials. Any third-party filing fees paid on your behalf with prior approval are non-refundable once disbursed.
Refund process & method
Email hello@autoroutingsys.digital with your engagement reference, reason, and payment receipt. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
Processing time
We acknowledge refund requests within three business days and aim to decide within ten business days after receiving any needed clarification.
